9facts is a perfect tool for sharing and comparing facts related to you, your friends, and people you know. You can:
A fact is generally any statement that is true, or an event that is already happened. A fact might contain some measurable data, like your score in a computer game, distance that you run today or the amount of money you donated to a charity fund.
9facts can automatically populate facts like the number of your friends, followers, tweets, reputation points on popular social networks and community websites — just activate the desired fact provider.
Create or join a group based on any criterion: location, interests, professional skills, or hobbies. As soon as you join a group, your facts start to participate in its fact ranking, so you can compare them with achievements of other group members.
A fact page is a collection of facts that are somehow connected to each other. For instance, we've created “CV”, "Hobbies” and “Top 9” fact pages so you can share some of your facts there. You can create any fact page you like and add the corresponding facts to it.
The provision of trustworthy facts is one of our priorities - so we recommend you to approve any trustworthy facts published by your friends, and get approvals for your own facts. In near future everything will be focused mainly on approved facts (e.g. unapproved facts won't participate in fact rankings).
Currently you can enter wide variety of facts manually and collect some of them automatically using our integrated fact providers. But our goal is to allow nearly any application to submit facts about people to 9facts — and that will be even simpler than using Twitter API.
